About

A Little About Me

My name is Erin Christlebar. I was raised in Vancouver, Washington where I graduated from the Cedar Mountain School of Massage in 2003. There, I was given 700 hours of training in a variety of massage techniques. Upon graduating, I became nationally certified and moved to Texas, getting state certified here. I originally settled in Big Spring, TX to attend the Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf where I earned my degree in Sign Language Interpreting. I decided to move to Lubbock in 2008 to start my business in this thriving community.

I am confident in my skills as a massage therapist; specializing in deep tissue massage. My goal is to help a person achieve their full potential of mobility and comfort. I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out what action is causing the issue so things can be done to prevent the problem from happening again. There are stretches that can be done, ways of reprogramming muscles, and habits that can be broken in order to avoid future cranky muscles. Of course, I am also capable of giving a relaxation massage that will leave you drooling on the arm cradle and snorking yourself awake.

Although I am not a dietitian nor nutritionist and unable to give "advice" on the subjects, I do have a healthy knowledge of such things, and will share my knowledge when applicable. Unless a "quiet" massage is requested, I tend to inform my clients of things they may benefit from. For example; I explain what is usually the cause of those annoying little bumps on the backs of their arms, some other signs of the deficiency, what they could take or eat to remedy the issue, and some locations to purchase such things. I honestly am motivated by the potential of helping people better their health, and get excited from the success stories.
